2009's X Factor has begun! What did you think of the start of another series? Now that you've seen it in action, what are your thoughts on the new audition format?

I HATE the new format. ithe audience is too loud and its hard to hear the judges....them singing to the music sucks...it makes it harder to hear how much they suck when they're bad...and there are too many shots of the audience....I need more shots of chezza that being said....far and away my fav was daniel johnson...he was AMAZING...I wish cheryl had the overs. and the chick that everyone was saying looked like cheryl looked nothing like her...but I did like her..I thought she had a good voice and a good personality

I hate the new format too, its just horrible. I agree with you, especially about the music. Its just a lot of big huff and fuss about the new format, whereas the simpler auditions were much better and personal.

I don't mind the new format because honestly, I think it could also weed out the people that would get nerves and flop on their face when the competition progressed. And I lol whenever the audience is hilarious.

Thats a good point, but like Shea said, it means less Cheryl hee. Ive noticed more Dannii close ups this time too. Do not approve! [[[

Well, I think that also has to do with Dannii being there at every audition this year when last year, she missed most of them.

I don't mind the new format. I doesn't bother me how they do it, but then I'm not that fussed on the audition process at all, it bores me a little if I'm honest. I only really get into it at the judges houses and then really get into it at the live shows. I just hate the way they make the auditions drag on, though I heard the live shows are starting in October? Is that when they normally start? It seems earlier to me, but what do I know.
