HELP! VIRUS ON MY COMPUTER... HOW TO GET RID OF IT?
I am running Windows XP SP3 and am connected to the internet through a Comcast modem and Belkin router. It says my internet connection is excellent and this problem does not occur on the other laptop in the house. I have tried many things and there are no viruses or firewall problems. I decided to run IE's diagnostic thing. It said there was some problem, that I was told could be solved by using Winsock XP Fix (because whenever IE tried to fix it, it claimed it fixed it and to restart my computer, but then when I would restart, the problem would still occur and be detected). After using Winsock XP Fix, the problem stopped for a few hours, but is now back again and this program does not solve it anymore. Cheryl Cole to play V Festival!

Cheryl Cole will perform at the V Festival this summer, announcing the gig days after her split from husband Ashley.

It will be her first solo performance at a festival, following appearances at the Brit Awards and on The X Factor.

Kasabian and Kings of Leon will headline the music event, which takes place at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of August 21-22.

Performers at the 15th anniversary festival will also include Florence And The Machine, Stereophonics,

Faithless, The Prodigy, The Kooks, Paul Weller and Paolo Nutini.

La Roux, Ellie Goulding, Pet Shop Boys, Madness, Editors, Mika, Groove Armada, The Charlatans, Goldfrapp,

Kate Nash, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes and Pixie Lott are among the others on the bill. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Cole performed at the V Festival with Girls Aloud two years ago.

The 26-year-old announced her separation from Chelsea and England footballer Ashley last month, following reports that he had been repeatedly unfaithful.

He has made no public comment on the split, but was photographed yesterday without his diamond-encrusted wedding ring. He is currently undergoing treatment for a broken ankle at a clinic in the south of France.

The footballer reported blames his mother-in-law, Joan Callaghan, for the break-up, claiming that she killed the passion when she moved into the couple’s £6 million Surrey home last year.

Recently, we brought you the good news that Cheryl would soon be supporting The Black Eyed Peas (whose frontman, will.i.am guested and produced on Cheryl’s ‘3 Words’) on the UK leg of their spectacular arena tour.

Today we are very pleased to announce that Cheryl will be joining the band on all of their European tour dates!
